Just one mile over the Wisconsin/Michigan border to the North, on Hwy 45, nestled in majestic pines, lays the historic Pineaire Resort/Motel.
Come breathe in the “Pine Air” and take a stroll to Moon Lake, a short walk through the National Forest.
You will likely catch a glimpse of the deer wandering through for a snack, a bear trying to get to the bird feeders, or any other myriad of wild life strolling through the resort. Warning; food left out is fair game!
Our larger cabins can accommodate 4 guests comfortably (6 if you count the sleeper sofa) and our smaller cabins are perfect for a couple. All cabins include a television, Wi-Fi, bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, an outdoor grill. One cabin has a small kitchenette. Linens and towels are provided.
Cabins range from $69 – $125 a night plus tax/ fees for double occupancy.
Memorial day to Labor day there is a three-night minimum stay and the rest of the year there is a two-night minimum stay.
Pets are allowed in most cabins for an extra $10 charge.
All cabins are non-smoking!
There is a fish cleaning house on-site as well as a freezer to store your winnings!
Credit cards are used to hold reservations. Balances will be due upon check-in. Cancellations must be given one week before your arrival or a one-night stay will be charged.
Check-in is 1 PM and check-out is 10 AM. If your cabin is available, we will happily accommodate an early check-in.

Close to many attractions such as cross-country skiing, snowmobile trails, hiking and biking trails, many great fishing and canoeing lakes only minutes away, and breathtaking Bond Falls a short drive, along with the “Paulding Mystery Lights,” the resort is also close to many restaurants. But for those who prefer to cook out, grills, tables, and fire pits are scattered throughout the property for our guests’ use. And don’t forget we are also a quick drive to Lac Vieux Desert Casino in Watersmeet for a little nightlife. And if you are on your way to the Sylvania Wilderness Recreation Area for canoeing or camping, we are on your route just a mile from the southeast trailhead.
A rustic lodge is available for group gatherings. How about a family reunion or a company retreat? We’ll get the logs blazing in the fireplace for your cool evening get-together!
